In the techno-science fiction thriller "Species" (1995), a research group receives information from "the beyond", on how to splice alien DNA with human DNA. Of course they immediately try it out, to obvious horrific effect! These are two large specimen bottles screen used in the lab sequences. They include an impressive large "octopus-alien" type creature floating in faux-formaldehyde, and another jar with two jet-black "other worldly" looking gem specimens. Both have imposing BIOHAZARD labels on them. (The large bottle is approx. 10"x6", and the smaller bottle is approx. 5.5"x3").
