1941 Miniature Pieces

Steven Spielberg himself has called his over-the-top "1941" (1979) the noisiest movie ever made! That it was, with an all star cast including Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi and even Toshiro Mifune! It also included some of the greatest (and sadly, because of the onset of CGI, the last) miniature work ever for a motion picture. That included the recreation of Hollywood Blvd and the Santa Monica Pier complete with an entire amusement park (including the infamous runaway Farris Wheel!). These are a few rare pieces of remaining miniatures. They include an Army Issued rifle, a hat, and a "Life" magazine. (Pieces approx. 1"x1").
