"Wings of War" was one of the most celebrated and successful mini-series of all time. Based on Herman Wouk's best selling novel which followed a family up to WW II. The sequel did even better, "War and Remembrance" (1988). it had an all star cast that recreated the great heroes and villains of that period. A very special make up unit was established to turn these stars into realistic historical figures. This is the life mask of celebrated actor Richard Dysart, which was then used to create appliances for his role as President Harry Truman. (Approx 5"x10"x6").
