Main Event Barbra Streisand Shorts

After the success of "For Pete's Sake" (1972), Barbra Streisand and her co-star Ryan O'Neal were anxious to do a movie again. They were both very hot at that time, so it took almost seven years to get back together in "The Main Event" (1979) in which Streisand plays a down and out entrepreneur who finds that she actually owns a boxer (O'Neal)! Both are "boxer" style cotton shorts with elastic bands. They are both red. The first is solid red, and the second has white "sports" stripes on the right leg. These are two pair of red boxer shorts that were made for the production, and originally given to charity by Streisand herself.
