Alexander Persian Royal Costume
Costume Designer Jenny Beavan worked for the first time with Oliver Stone for his screen exploding “Alexander” (2004). and had the daunting task in creating the thousands of costumes for Macedonia and Greece in 283BC, not to mention all the areas Alexander the Great (Colin Farrell) conquered during his eight-year campaign across Asia. A great case in point is this screen used costume set worn by one of the Persian Royals after their Empire was captured by Alexander. It starts with a deep green, burgundy and gold over cape, with a matching burgundy long cloak, thick gold tassel waist tie, and gold leather front laced shoes.
