When one speaks of beloved movies, 1938's "The Adventures of Robin Hood" is always on the list. This grand exquisite Technicolor adventure is as fresh and entertaining today as it was when it first burst on the big screens. A great story surrounds this cape. It was originally made for Claude Rains (Prince John), but was so beautiful that the much more powerful Basil Rathbone (Sir Guy of Gisbourne) took "control" of it and wore in in the film. It is a full length dark blue cape and dark gold inside.
