Planet Of The apes (1968) Face Appliance
Photographs: © Premiere Props
From the classic 1968 sci-fi film 'Planet of the Apes,' this is an original face appliance worn by one of the ape/actors in the film. The appliance is made from foam latex and painted 'ape color,' and is in two parts, the nose and eye piece, and the lower jaw attachment. The pieces are still very soft after all these years and display really nicely.
