One of the legendary horror films that started it all. This is a background prop wooden chest from the original, all time classic horror film 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (1974), directed by Tobe Hooper. This chest was part of the set for the creepy house where Leatherface and family tormented Marylyn Burns' character Sally. The prop is constructed from real wood and made to look aged, and has a painted image of a female on the inside lid. (measures approx. )
