Besides Cast and Crew Jackets, the next level of collectables are Cast and Crew t-shirts. Again, specially designed shirts, creating custom designs just for the specific shirt is extremely rare. This is such a shirt. Created by legendary art designer Fred Folger, this is the “Creature Crew” shirt from 1994’s cult classic “Stargate”. All the designs on this shirt (and there are plenty of them) were created exclusively for this item. The back has an overlarge 14” x 8” “Stargate Creature Crew” drawing, showing “horse soldiers” dancing on top of a “Dr. Seuss” styled camel, with various “Hieroglyphics ” thrown in for good measure! The left sleeve has a special Egyptian “eye” symbol done in an almost “R Crumb” style. On the front left breast is another great character of the Sphinx, crawling out of a pyramid with the most “pissed off” expression imaginable (perhaps this is how the crew felt working with the perfectionist director!), with “STARGATE CREATURE CREW” written underneath.
