Planet of the Apes (1968) Gorilla Equestrian Jacke

Gorilla equestrian vest, used by the mounted soldiers of Planet of the Apes. This purple leather costume features a Western Costume Company tag with a production number of 2778-1 and a large handwritten "J. J." The rarely encountered equestrian version of the gorilla vest features snaps at the bottom back, whereas ordinarily examples have no snaps and are ordinarily attached. An incredible find. Has some paint stains to the front.
