Shy Waggner Skirt from John Wayne's The Fighting Kentuckian

Blue skirt with white polka dots worn by Shy Waggner, the daughter of director George Waggner, in The Fighting Kentuckian (1949). This was Shy's only film. Includes a Western Costume Company label on the inside lining with Waggner's name handwritten on it. The Fighting Kentuckian told the tale of a sinister plot to rob French exiles of land they plan to settle in Alabama. It was left to John Wayne and Oliver Hardy to foil the scheme.
