Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1969) Prop Rifle

Prop rifle used by a background actor playing one of the gorilla forces of Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Most POTA rifles offered for sale are of the more common wooden variety but this one is constructed of lightweight solid vinyl, painted to resemble an actual rifle. This was most likely constructed for the sequence in which the gorilla army ascends the atomic bomb during the film's climax. (34.5x4x2) Oversized item. Additional postage required.
