The Barrets of Wimpole Street (1957) - Elizabeth Barrett (Jennifer Jones) screen worn, two piece period gown designed by Elizabeth Haffenden. Features a green silk faille gown - the skirt and bodice are attached at the front, bodice is trimmed with velvet from the shoulders running down the front, and a sash of emerald green taffeta runs over both shoulders. Also included is an off white corset style long under garment with lace detail at the bottom. Includes certificate from Star Wares on Main and copy of page from original MGM auction catalog and MGM auction tag.
