How the Grinch Stole Christmas – Whoville Choral Society Song Book - H4-185

An original Whoville Choral Society song book created for use by various actors in Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). This wonderfully whimsical prop was part of the festive Whoville choir scenes, embodying the colorful, musical spirit of the film’s production design. Measuring approximately 10.75” x 8.25”, the pale green booklet features the title “Whoville Choral Society” printed in bold red lettering across the front cover, along with decorative musical notes that perfectly capture the storybook aesthetic of Whoville. Inside, the pages include printed sheet music and lyrics for the “Hallewholujah Chorus” and other Who-themed songs, with one section featuring a production-applied page containing lyrics, complete with a line that has been intentionally scratched out as part of the filming process. A charming and highly displayable artifact representing the joyful heart of Whoville and the craftsmanship that brought the world of The Grinch to life.
