How the Grinch Stole Christmas - Whoville Trash - H4-55
A collection of “Whoville trash” props created for use in Ron Howard’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). This lot includes four original set dressing pieces used to populate the Mt. Crumpit dump (landfill) and the Grinch’s cave, both of which were filled with Seussian junk to reflect the character’s chaotic, yet oddly endearing world. The set includes a distressed plastic prop bottle, a crushed metal can, an unpainted foam plate, and a bent green-coated wire, each piece uniquely weathered and aged by the film’s art department to achieve the grimy, lived-in look of the Grinch’s hoard of discarded Whoville goods. Together, these items perfectly capture the handcrafted visual style that made the film’s production design so memorable, and offer a rare glimpse into the fine detail work that brought Dr. Seuss’ whimsical world to life.
The item(s) may exhibit varying levels of wear and studio distressing, as detailed in the listing images that provide an accurate representation of the condition.
