How the Grinch Stole Christmas – Grinch’s Stolen Lederhosen – H2-238

This pair of lederhosen were custom-made by John David Ridge for use during filming. The leather lederhosen feature an ornate Dr. Suess style embroidered floral pattern and three Dr. Suess creatures. This pair of lederhosen are marked “Gavin Grazer” who performed as the “Yodeler” in the film and are the lederhosen the Grinch steals to attend the Whobilation. This is the only pair of lederhosen released by the studio to the public, making these a very rare artifact from the film. The only other pair seen, were featured on display in the background of an interview of Jim Carrey at his home.
